WINCARS Quick Start

To Install fill out registration and download the windemo.exe program. When asked to Open or Save, click on the Save button. Select the location to save it to (usually this is the desktop, but can be anywhere you choose. Just remember where you save it). After download is complete, double-click on the windemo.exe icon and follow the installation instructions.

Note: During installation, you may get a message that says the MDAC_TYPE is incompatible with your version of Windows. Just click Cancel. This is a file from Microsoft that we must distribute with our system just in case your computer does not have an MDAC installed. If you receive this message, it means you already have this.

Operator ID is….CPS Password is…76109

After installing…go to your desktop and click the WINCARS icon…the screen below will pop up

You will need to click on Microsoft Access 2000

You will now see the screen below…now click on the browse button (the button with 3 dots)

This screen will pop up…click on Cpscars.mdb and click open

You will now have the database name on the screen…click the green check.

Be sure to check your Dealer defaults by clicking on the…1^st icon (the house).
